How to Recover Contacts from Corrupt WAB Files

Go to Start menu » Programs » SysTools WAB Recovery » SysTools WAB Recovery.

For selecting the preferred WAB file, click on the Recover button.

After clicking on Recover, select your WAB file and click the Open button.

After selecting the WAB file, the software will start scanning it and load contacts from it. Now Click on "OK" for previewing the contacts stored within the WAB File.

After previewing the content of the recovered WAB file, next step is to save the recovered WAB file.

You can save the recovered WAB file in four different formats, as per your need. The software offers the following Four output formats:
• CSV
• WAB
• PST
• vCard

Now, save the recovered WAB file will as CSV format, and click the "Export as CSV" button:

Choose the destination path of your choice to save the exported CSV file from an Export File screen:

After choosing the target location, the software will start recovering the WAB file as CSV files and will display a box showing the number of contacts exported successfully to the location chosen for saving the output.

CSV is a non-structured Comma Separated Values file for contacts and can easily be viewed in any contemporary text editor.
