Let’s describe the above steps in brief:

Step-1: Convert Offline Storage Table (.ost)

While using the manual solution, there will many limitations for OST conversion. Like, it only exports emails from the OST file, and also it consumes much time to move data from the Offline Storage file to eM Client readable format. Therefore, the user should use SysTools Software to perform the task successfully in a lesser time.

Step-2: Import Exported File into eM Client

  • Start the eM Client application on your machine.

  • Go to Menu >> File >> and Select Import option.

  • A new window will appear, choose Import from Microsoft Outlook. Click Next.

Note: In the Import wizard, you will find many applications and file extensions like eM Client 6, Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, The bat and .eml, .mbox, .ics, .pst, .vcf, .csv, .wab and .xml respectively. Here we are taking the example of the Microsoft Outlook PST file only.

  • Click on the Select file button to add the PST file that you have converted earlier.

  • Locate the resultant PST and click on Open.

  • Select Folders items which you want to import to eM Client from OST and click on the Next button.

  • Choose Import data to a specific folder. To do so, click on the Select Folder button.

Note: There are 2 options available while importing OST to eM Client. “Import data to default root folders of the selected account” and “Import data to a specific folder”. We have selected the second option. The user can choose as per requirement.

  • Under Local Folders, select Inbox and click OK.
