A Step By Step Process to Use Mac Thunderbird Import Wizard

Now, whatever you select like MBOX files, EML file, Maildir Files Folders or Import Address Book, & Calendar, the tool gives you an two options your add files Add Files or Add Folders. So lets see the first option, Click on the “Add Folders(s)” button to import MBOX/MBX/MBS/EML/EMLX/Maildir files and LDIF, MAB, SQLite, VCF (Contacts), or Calendar (SQLite) into the software.

Now, browse and select the specific Folder that is to be added to the software and click on the “Choose” button.

Once a file has been added, you can able to see all the added files on the left side of the software window.

If you wnat to change the Report Path then hit the Change Button.

Note: The Remove button can be used to remove the added files one at a time.
Remove All Button to remove all the selected files.

After making the desired options then, Click on “Next” button.

Here you can also mark-unmark the files for importing process.

The software will automatically show all the Identity that are configured on the Thunderbird application in the identities dropdown.

The Tool also provide the system location Path.

Select Address Book dropdown to select a raquired category for contact importing process.

Select Calendar dropdown option to Import Events.

Select the Date Filter option to import data according to the data as per your choice.

After this to maintain the folder hierachy you can choose the Maintain Folder Hierarchy option.

Click on “Import” to start the import process.

The Import process will be completed successfully with a success message, Click on “OK” as shown below:

You can view the Report of the import process with details: File Path, Number of Mails imported.

If you have selected the pop to save the files, then go the Thunderbird to see your all data.
