Learn - How to Remove Password from PST File(s)

First, download and run the software to remove the password of the password protected PST file.

Once the software opens click either on "Add Files" or "Add Folder" option to browse the password protected Outlook PST files or folder.

Select the Files or Folder which has to be processed further and click on "OK" button.

The tool comes with Search PST File option to search the password protected PST file from your system.

Click on the Remove File or Remove All to remove the wrong selected PST files from teh software panel.

Once you added the password protected PST file to the software. It starts representing the PST files and their current status on the software screen. This status elucidates about encryption(Lock Icon) of Outlook PST Files.

The same status report that was appearing on the software panel in last step can be exported and saved into a CSV file by using "Generate CSV Report" option.

This way (by generating the CSV report), you can have a concise view and can ascertain about two different things about data files: Location & Encryption status.

At last, click on "Remove Password" button and unlock password protected PST files.

Before removing the password of the protected PST file a pop-up comes which says, "Create Backup of the PST file before removing the password."

Once the password is removed from the PST file click on the OK button to end the task.

After ending the task you can see the Lock icon change into Unlock icon
