How to Extract Images from PDF Documents

Go to the Start » All Programs » SysTools PDF Toolbox » SysTools PDF Toolbox

Click on "EXTRACT IMAGES" to start the extraction process of images from PDF documents.

After clicking on "EXTRACT IMAGES" software will display a PDF file(s) selection screen.

Select the PDF files which you want to process.

Now the screen will display all the selected files. You can remove any PDF file(s) that may not be of your requirement.

Select the destination folder path where the extracted output is to be stored.

After selecting the PDF files, click on "Next" button to continue. Then the software will display the Options screen.

Enter the details for Extract Images.

For images to be saved in specified format choose one of the extensions from the given list.

Click on "Advance Settings" button for specifying minimum and maximum image size.

After clicking on "Advance Settings" option, a dialog box for Advance Settings option will appear as follows:

For specifying the Minimum/Maximum image size check on Minimum/Maximum Image Size check box and select Minimum/Maximum height and Minimum/Maximum width in PIXELS.

Click on OK button to save the settings.

Page Options:

Select either of the option All, Odd, Even.
1. All: For processing the complete document.
2. Even: For processing Even Pages of the documents.
3. Odd: For processing Odd Pages from the documents.

Page Range:

Mention page range by selecting starting page numbers and ending page number.

Page: Mention page numbers as comma separated values.

Now the software will display the complete details of the page containing the information selected in the previous steps.

Click on "Start" button to start the process

After completing the image extraction process, the software will display a confirmation screen as follows:
