Step by step tutorial to split OST files in 6 unique ways using the OST File Splitter Software
Once the software is launched, Add OST File(s)/Folder(s) and browse Destination Path to save resultant OST files as shown below.
On the next menu select desired Split Option according the OST file is to be split. Provide required details to proceed further.
Choose the Split Option as Split by Size and provide required details to split OST files in desired way. User can specify any size from 1 MB to 1 TB in which the OST files will be split.
On this window, the summary of Split Information showing details of the whole process will be displayed. Click on the "Next" button to proceed further.
Here, user can view resultant files and report of the whole process saved at specified location.
Choose the Split Option as Split by Date and provide required details to split OST files in desired way. User can choose and specify the required date range(s) in which the OST files will be split.

Choose the Split Option as Split by Folder and provide required details to split OST files in desired way. By using this option, user can "Split OST by Folder" in two ways i.e. "Create Separate OST file for each Selected Folder(s)" and "Create Single OST File for all Selected Folder(s)"
Create Separate OST file for each Selected Folder(s): To avail this facility, user just need to click on radio button corresponding to 'Create Separate OST file for each Selected Folder(s)' option.
Create Single OST File for all Selected Folder(s): After selecting the radio button corresponding to 'Create Single OST File for all Selected Folder(s)', specify the size from 1 MB to 1 TB in which OST file is to be split.
On this window, the summary of Split Information showing details of the whole process will be displayed. Click on the "Next" button to proceed further.
Here, user can view resultant files and report of the whole process saved at specified location.
Choose the Split Option as Split by Email ID and provide required details to split OST files in desired way. By using this option, user can split OST data file by single or multiple Email ID(s).
On this window, the summary of Split Information showing details of the whole process will be displayed. Click on the "Next" button to proceed further.

Choose the Split Option as Split by Category and provide required details to split OST files in desired way. By using this option, user can mark the required category option to split the Outlook OST data files into different categories such as Mail, Calendar, Contact, Note, Task and Journal.
