Dear User,
We value your privacy and are committed to ensuring the security and confidentiality of your personal information. As part of the functionality of our product, SysTools requires access to your mailbox for the purpose of backing up your data. Below are the details of the data we need access to, how it will be used, and how you can manage permissions:
This access is solely for backing up your mailbox data. The backup process uses APIs provided by Microsoft to securely retrieve the data for storage as per your instructions.
The data will only be accessed during the backup process. SysTools will not use your data for any other purposes, and no data will be retained beyond the backup operation.
By granting the requested permissions, you consent to SysTools accessing your mailbox through the APIs provided by Microsoft. You acknowledge that this access is limited to the scope and purpose outlined above.
On the Source screen you have to add and validate the single user account for backup.
Type in the Microsoft username/email and click on Sign in with M365 button.
Note: You can only add that emails/account which is registered with your organization's M365 subscription. Personal accounts ending with @(outlook.com/hotmail.com) are not valid.
A window appears; enter your Microsoft account password and press Sign in.
Your password is just being used for verification purposes and is not stored anywhere.
On the Permissions requested panel.
You can open the Terms of Service and Privacy Statement links to see what all data is required by this application. Once satisfied click on Accept.
Use the On-screen Validate button to see if the permissions are granted or not.
After Successful Validation click on Next.
Sign in to Microsoft 365 portal.
Click on your Profile icon and select View Account option.
Select My Apps option from the left hand pane
In the Apps Dashboard, find the SysTools Office365 Backup and Restore App and Click on the 3 Vertical dots at top right corner. Then select Manage your application option.
This opens the page for SysTools Office 365 Backup and Restore app, press the Revoke access button to withdraw user level app permissions.
