Mail Converter: Steps to Know How it Works!

Mail Converter will show the different Source file types which you can select for the conversion process.

1. Exchange Offline Storage(.ost)

2. MBOX

3. Microsoft Exchange Server (.edb)

4. Microsoft Outlook (.pst).

The application also shows two types of conversion mode:

Single File: For conversion of single file.
Batch Files: For conversion of multiple files.

Select the source file(s) to be converted by clicking on the "Browse" button.

Now to load the chosen source file(s) on software, click on Open.

fter selecting the file(s), click on "Next" for further processing. SysTools Mail Converter will then show the following screen.
This will be the folder hierarchy for the selected files. You can select different folders that need to be converted.

After selecting the desired folders, click on the next button to which, SysTools Mail Converter will navigate you to another screen as shown.
SysTools Mail Converter tool will give different options on the screen that appears afterwards.

Destination Type:

You can select any of the featured target file types for storing the converted data like; PST, EML, MSG, PDF, & HTML.

Filters

You can also filter the conversion process by applying date filters provided for Mail, Calendar and Task conversion.

Naming Convention:

The file(s) can be saved using proper naming convention offered by the tool. (A file can be saved by an email’s subject, date, etc.)
This option is only applicable on EML, MSG, PDF and HTML file types.

After using the featured options, select a destination folder for the output files. Click on the Convert button to start the conversion process.
You can also choose to go back to the previous screen, if need to make changes in selected folders.

The software will display the Live Conversion Process with currently being converted; Mailbox Name, Item Count, Error Count, and Progress Status respectively.

After completion of the conversion process, SysTools Mail Converter will report you about the successful conversion on your screen.

After completion of the conversion process, you can see Converted Items on the destination location selected at the time of conversion.

After completion of the conversion process, SysTools Mail Converter will show a report of the entire conversion which can further be saved as a CSV format file.

Now, the software will show you complete converted data in destination files of the selected format (.pst / .eml / .msg / .pdf / html).
