How to Convert Lotus Notes E-mails to Outlook Express

Launch SysTools Lotus Notes to Outlook Express

Go to Start menu » Programs » SysTools Lotus Notes to Outlook Express » SysTools Lotus Notes to Outlook Express to run the software. The software will display the following screen:

Click on Browse button to select Lotus Notes Database to be converted.

After clicking on the Browse button following screen appears.

Select the NSF File, click on Open button and the software will display the following screen:

Scan Lotus Notes Database?

Click on Start Scan button to start scanning the selected NSF file.

The software will scan the emails of the selected Lotus Notes Database.

A pop up will appear reporting that the Scan Completed Successfully. Click OK to proceed.

Preview Lotus Notes Emails

Now the software will display entire Notes Database Emails including all folders such as; Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Follow Up, Junk Mail, Trash, and subfolders.

Now select any given folder like; the Inbox to view its content on the preview pane of the software.

Select emails folders using checkboxes provided against each and click on Start Conversion button.

Export Lotus Notes Emails to Outlook Express Emails (.eml)

Now choose the location where you want to save all the emails. Click Ok.

Click on Export Emails button to proceed with the Lotus Notes Migration process. Now software will check the configuration.

The progress details of Lotus Notes database can be viewed like: Saving Emails, Subject, Found, & Current Email Count.

An Export Complete window will appear displaying the saving location with its migration date and time.

Now go to the location where you have saved the Outlook Express (.eml) files. Open the folder and select the email folder: Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Follow Up, Junk Mail, Trash or any subfolders accordingly.

Opening any of the email folders will give you a view of the EML files storing converted NSF file email data.

To import .eml files to Outlook Express, just Drag and Drop the .eml files to Outlook Express. Open Outlook Express. Select .eml file(s), drag and drop it on Outlook Express email folder.

Emails can be viewed with complete contents and metadata as it was in Notes Database emails.
