STEP 1

Choose among your 2 step verification method : Text or Email Verification

Enter you Two step authentication code recieved via Text or by email

STEP 3

Under Two Step Verification Click on "Turn Off two-step verification"

A prompt is generated saying : "Are you sure that you want to turn off two-step verification?". Click on Yes option

How to Create App Password for Hotmail Account

Follow procedure to Generate an Application Password For Hotmail Sign-In & Security Settings

STEP 1

Click here to go to Microsoft Security Settings : https://account.microsoft.com/security/ & Sign in with Outlook.com login ID. After that click on Security >> Manage how I sign in button as highlighted in below screen.

STEP 2

Scroll-down to the App Passwords section to create a new App Password.

Important Note: You won't see this option if you haven't enabled Two-Step Verification.

The text shown below App password is the generated app password. Save this code to open the account on other devices that does not accept security codes.

Please enter the "App generated Password" within software panel.
