SysTools Lotus Notes to PST Converter: Know How it Works!

SIMPLE CONVERSTION

Open SysTools Export Notes tool by clicking on Start Menu » SysTools Export Notes:.

Choose the Select NSF File(s) radio button and select Add Files or Add Folder option to add NSF files.

Note: If your NSF file is password protected, then enter the password in Provide Lotus Notes Password.

Once the NSF file is added to the software pane you can view your file into the preview pane.

Now, if you have selected the wrong file, then click on the Remove button.

To find out the SMTP address and map with CN value automatically, add the Names.nsf file. Select the checkbox "Names.NSF File" and click on the "Browse".

After that click on the Open button to add the Names.nsf file

You can also add Domino data directly from the Domino Server Mailbox. And to do this just enter the Machine IP Address and Password. Then click on the Next button to go the export window.

Click on the Next button to select the Categories which you want to Export. You can apply the filter for each category.

To maintain the folder hierarchy tick out the Maintain Folder Hierarchy.

Now tick out the Apply Advanced Options and click on the Settings button.

Now choose the Options Such as:

• HTML Formatting - This option lets you maintain all HTML formatting of emails during the process of its conversion.
• Internet Header – This option maintain the sent or received email header.
• All Documents – Allow all document view mail items to be migrated into PST.
• Doclink – Allow to maintain Doclink of mails.

To convert the canonical name, that you have defined in Lotus Notes, into the Outlook SMTP format, then select the required naming convention

For email address translation you can also add the CSV file path. But always remember that format should be in (sample.csv)

You can also map the Lotus Notes default generated folder with your Outlook default folder name.

Choose Include Folder(s) option to convert items from that specified folder name. and then click on the Apply to save the changes.

Split PST option is provided to split your large file according to Size. The file could be splitted into GB or MB.

If you want to create a single PST file, then choose the Create Single PST File for All NSF Files.

Click on the Browseto save the file choose the desired destination location.

After all the settings click on the Export button to start the process.

After clicking on the export button there is a pop up appear that asking for the password. So simply enter the your Lotus Notes password to start the process.

The export process will start as follows:

Once the export process is over click on the OK button

Now, click on the Save button to save the CSV export report.

Select the destination and click on the Open button.

View the Export Report that is automatically generated by the Software. The report contain the folder count.

To access the exported file go to the destination location.

Now, to see the data in Outlook import the exported file into the Outlook using Import/Export option. And once the file is imported into the Outlook you can view your Lotus Notes data in Outlook.
