Simple Steps to Split & Merge Excel Files Using the Excel Splitter and Merger Tool

STEP 1

Download and Launch the “SysTools Excel Split & Merge” Tool & check the Split Excel option.

Click "Add File(s)" or "Add Folder" option to add multiple Excel files or add the entire folder that contains several Excel files respectively.

Next, From the folder pick the Excel file and click on the Open button.

Now, you can see that the Excel file is the being added to the tool dashboard. Tap on Next button to set the splitting parameters.

From the given Advance Options, choose the "Split by Row", "Split by Size", or "Split by Sheet" as per your need.

  1. Split by Row: Split file based on number Of rows.
  2. Split by Size: Split file based on file size.
  3. Split by Sheet: Split each sheet into seperate files

Besides this, you can Click on the "Change" button to browse and alter the destination path. Once you have done with the settings, click on the Split button.

STEP 6

Here, you will get a window prompt that Split process completed successfully. Hit the "OK" button.

Now, Click on the View Report to get the detailed analysis.

View the Report and the Splitted Excel file.

Download and Install the “SysTools Excel Split & Merge” software and select Merge Option.

Next, click "Add File(s)" to add multiple Excel files or "Add Folder" to add full folder with all the Excel files.

Now, choose the Excel file in the file explorer and click on the Open button.

Your picked Excel file(s) will be visible to you in the tool interface. Tap on Next button to set Merging parameters.

In the Merge Options, Select the block given as per your need.

  1. Individual Worksheets: Merge files as seperate worksheets in a single file
  2. Single Worksheets: Merge all files into a single worksheet

After that, Click on the "Change" button to browse the destination path. Once you have done with the settings, click on the Merge button.

Next, you will get a window prompt that Merge process completed successfully. Hit the "OK" button.

Now, Click on the View Report to get the detailed analysis.
