SysTools Exchange BKF to PST Converter Software: Know How it Works!

After that click on the Load button from the toolbar as shown with the red marked area.

Select Exchange Backup File or BKF to start generating Outlook PST files from EDB mailboxes.

Choose the Exchange BKF File and click on the Open button.
After selecting the Exchange BKF File. The software will scan Exchange BKF file and display the recovered folders. You need to select the folder containing EDB file. It shows the EDB file and STM file name on the right side panel.

Then next step is to select Scan EDB file option as shown:

You have to select the EDB file format, i.e. mailbox folders or public folders.

Note : If file is highly corrupted then you can select Advance Scan option:

In the next step, the software displays all the mailboxes present inside the EDB file.

Now choose the User Mailbox and click on it to view the stored items. The recovered items will be displayed in the right panel of the software as the below window illustrates.

After examining the contents of EDB file, click on Export to PST button given on the toolbar.

Now Exchange BKF to PST will exhibit the catalogue of all User Mailboxes present in the selected EDB file. Select the mailbox that you want to export in PST file format and click on the Add button as shown.

After selecting all the folders to convert or extract, click on the Export button and extract the selected mailboxes to PST files as displayed:

Clicking the Export button, you will see the following ‘ Browse for Folder ’ box. Here you have to choose the destination path location to store the PST files and click OK to continue:

Later, Exchange BKF to PST tool will begin exporting/extracting selected mailboxes to PST files and will display the overall operation as shown:

The completion of Extraction will demonstrate the mailboxes in ‘Completed’ tab as shown:

After storing the new PST file, you will view the final screen as:

The software will create a separate PST file for each mailbox and save the PST files in the location selected during conversion as shown below:
